Paris Hilton: John McCain 'White-Haired Dude'

Paris Hilton, the notorious socialite and hotel heiress, has created a light hearted video in response to John McCain's inclusion of her image in a recent campaign commercial. Paris Hilton also suggested, tongue in cheek, that she will run for President herself.

Paris Hilton is seen reclining on a lawn chair in a swimming costume and gold stilettos with a magazine on her lap. In the video, Paris Hilton displays a sense of humor and an actually sensible energy policy. She would certainly be a more attractive third party candidate than Bob Barr or Cynthia McKinney. The video also may be a first because Paris Hilton is wearing clothes.

Paris Hilton does some riffs on John McCain being old, referring to him as that "wrinkly white haired guy" and "that white haired dude." In announcing her candidacy for President, Paris Hilton states, as her credentials, that she is "neither from the olden days" or "for change like that other guy." And, besides, she mentions that she is hot.

As for her energy policy, Paris Hilton suggests a combination of that of John McCain and Barack Obama. Paris Hilton declares herself both in favor of off shore drilling and for tax incentives to make more hybrid and electric cars.

Paris Hilton also promised to paint the White House pink, which one supposes is better than the color (black) that Ludacris suggested.

A spokesman for the McCain campaign, Tucker Bounds, quipped, "Sounds like Paris is taking the 'All of the Above' energy approach that John McCain has advocated - both alternatives and drilling. Perhaps the reality is that Paris has a more substantive energy plan than Barack Obama." There is no reaction as of yet from the Barack Obama campaign.

Of course, at twenty seven, Paris Hilton is a bit under the constitutional age to become President of the United States. On the other hand, if possessing a lust for publicity and a monumental ego are prerequisites for the Oval Office, Paris Hilton has both in abundance. But, on yet the other hand, White House parties are bound to become more decadent to the point for gross vulgarity, with more potential for sex scandals hitting YouTube.
